The Garden - Butterflies - Early Summer 2008
OK, so I'm not what you would call a nature photographer. And of course, I'm using my little digital camera, not some Nikon with a 12 inch long lens. But when I saw this visitor to my Buddleia davidii 'Nanho Blue' I just had to try and capture it in pixels.
This is definitely another plant that I want in the new garden. I just discovered a new website today, or perhaps rediscovered is the right word, that might help me in that regard.
Dave's Garden. It's a community of gardeners and one thing I noticed was that people were offering plants for trade. So now my next project will be to do som research on what it will take to get some viable cuttings of my Buddleia and Rose of Sharon, as well as other plants, to transplant and take with me to the new garden.
